The Grand
Siyum of Meseches Beitza
Upon the completion Meseches Beitza, a grand Siyum was held in
Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel. There, a panel of Rabbis from across
Israel grilled the 35 participants for 40 minutes and an audience
of 200 submitted questions of their own choosing. The ads for the
Siyum offerred an entire SHAS to anyone who could stump the shiur,
but no one could. Detailed questions, which included topics from
Chagigah, the first Meseches studied, were thrown out at the guys,
while the crowd watched in growing amazement as the group handled
question after question with speed and skill. The next morning, at
the beginning of Meseches Kesubos, the shiur doubled in size from
35 to over 80 participants.

A Morning
with Reb Aryeh Leib Shteinman, SHLIT"A
At the conclusion of Meseches Beitza, the Talmud Ba'al Peh
Chaburah had the unique opportunity to have a personal meeting
with Reb Shteinman, SHLITA"H, one of the Gedolei Hador. For close
to one hour, Reb Shteinman asked the participants questions from
across or the entire mesechta. The Rav was extremely impressed
with the knowledge of the group and gave a bracha to the group and
the entire program for continued growth and success.
